Habitat has numerous Implementing Partners across our project areas that enables most effective implementation of projects. By partnering with various organisation whom have extensive experience in their fields, Habtat is better able to direct and utilise resoures appropriately. All of our implementing partners are local to the project area and often have a specific undertsanding of need and impact for the families that we support.1. Union of Friendship Offices: The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) is a nation-wide socio-political organisation whose main function is to establish and promote friendly and co-operative people-to-people relations between Vietnam and other countries in the world. VUFO is a member organisation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. VUFO comprises many peace, solidarity and friendship member organisations - both bilateral and multilateral - and provincial and municipal friendship unions in the whole country. These member organisations carry out their activities in accordance with the objectives and statutes of VUFO.2. Vietnam Women's Union:Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) is an unique organization of women at all strata throughout the country. It is a member of the Vietnam Fatherland’s Front, the Women’s International Democratic Federation and ASEAN Confederation of Women’s Organization. VWU is mandated to strive for the equality and advancement of all women, protect and promote legitimate rights and interests of women. On a provincial and district level, the Women's Union have extensive experience in managing micro-credit programs; resource mobilisation; community development.3. Fatherland FrontVietnam Fatherland Front is a political coalition organization, a voluntary union of political organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations and individuals representing all classes, social strata, ethnic groups, religions and overseas Vietnamese.Vietnam Fatherland Front constitutes a part of the political system of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, led by the Communist Party of Vietnam; and constitutes a political base of the people’s administration, a place where the people express their will and aspirations, the entire people’s great solidarity bloc is built up, the people’s mastery is brought into full play, where its members hold consultative meetings, and coordinate and unify their actions, thus contributing to the firm maintenance of national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and successfully carrying out the cause of national industrialization and modernization, so as to achieve the objective of a prosperous people, a strong country and an equitable and civilized society."Habitat for Humanity Vietnam has enjoyed partnership with the Tien Giang Fatherland Front since August 2006.Source: www.ngocenter.org.vn 4. Red Cross64 cities/provinces and 100% districts have Red Cross chapters/branches and more than 4,000 communes have Red Cross Youth Stock BrigadesObjectives:- Vietnam Red Cross Society is a public social organization, serving the goal of humanity – peace –friendship, for the sake of prosperous people, powerful nation and an equal, democratic and civilized society.- Vietnam Red Cross Society is member of Vietnam Fatherland Front and International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement. Under the Constitution and relevant laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Society carries our it’s activities nationwide, in line with its statutes, and 7 fundamental principles of the movement: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, Universality. PACCOM has its network with close and effective collaboration of focal points for foreign NGO affairs at the central level and in all 64 provinces and centrally administered cities.PACCOM is entitled to perform the following tasks: 1. To reinforce the partnership between foreign NGOs and Vietnamese institutions and localities 2. To facilitate foreign NGOs' activities in Viet Nam, and assist local partners in their relationship with foreign NGOs 3. To gather and disseminate information concerning the activities of foreign NGOs in Viet Nam; conduct studies and reviews on the activities of foreign NGOs, and assess the needs of different localities 4. To participate, with concerned agencies, in guiding and monitoring the implementation of the Regulations, laws and policies relating to the operations of foreign NGOs; and recommend to the Government proper policies for the operation of foreign NGOs in Viet Nam.
